Washed up on the Calm Shore? This guide covers the Calmshore Marina location in The Sinking City 2, detailing loot, enemies, and clues related to Ebernote Blackwood.
Alright, so you've found yourself washed ashore at Calmshore Marina. Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. This spot is a bit of a grim one, located in the south-west corner of Salvation Harbor. You'll see some old wooden docks leading up to it, and the beach itself is pretty narrow, squeezed between the ocean and a big rock face. Keep an eye out near the last building on the left when you first arrive. There's a lootable crate there, plus some useful supplies: 6 Metal Scrap and 4 Shell Casings. Just watch out, though – this beach is crawling with Wylebeasts, mostly Stygians, probably drawn by the several corpses scattered around. Speaking of corpses, head towards the left side of the area. You'll find a wooden boat hull, and near it, a face-less corpse. Examining it is important. After you do, omens will appear, pointing you towards a symbol on the rock face further ahead. Right next to this first corpse, you can grab 6 Gunpowder and some 12-gauge shells. Now, about that symbol on the rock face. The omens will lead you right to it. Before you examine it, notice the bloody handprints on either side. There's also a bloody trail on the ground leading to the symbol, starting from further down the beach. Follow that trail, and you'll find another corpse. Near this one is a strange knife. Use your Mind's Eye on it – you'll see a vision of Ebernote Blackwood stabbing this very corpse with it. Pretty grim stuff. Keep moving past that corpse. To the right, you'll spot a metal propeller. To its left, there's a rock with scratches on it and an oxygen tank. Further on, under a beach umbrella, you'll find what's left of a diving suit and another crate to loot. Examining the suit pieces with Mind's Eye will trigger another vision. This time, you'll see Ebernote holding the Seal of Cthygonnaar, muttering about needing to get to the manor before more interlopers show up. At the very end of the beach, there's a dilapidated wooden building, once painted red, with a small steeple and two chimneys. It looks like it has no entrance, but if you climb on a rock near the water's edge, you can spot a small dock on the other side of it. There are also several capsized boats in the water around here.
