Navigate Salvation Harbor North in The Sinking City 2 with our comprehensive walkthrough. Discover key evidence, optional objectives, and essential tips for progression.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
On the "Charon" Ship: This is your first investigation location. Collect key evidence: your belongings (briefcase), the Letter from J. van der Berg, the Camera, and the Pistol. To collect the pistol, examine it by rotating it until an "eyeball" symbol appears on the handle and pressing X. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds. Remember to reload your gun before firing.
  2. 2
Additional Evidence on Ship: Use your camera to photograph the trophy plate (a strange fish on the wall) and examine the flyer on the desk.
  3. 3
Lootables: Search lockers and other lootable objects for ammunition and crafting materials. These reset when you leave and return to the area.
  4. 4
Exit the Boat: After collecting evidence, climb onto the dock (Triangle) to speak with Johannes van der Berg. Choose dialogue options to advance the game: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and "Goodbye.". Note that choosing specific dialogue options locks out others.
  5. 5
Find Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign. Climb the stairs to automatically start a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. Choose dialogue options to advance: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and "I'll be going.".
  6. 6
Optional: Lifeboat Titania: If you ask Robert Throgmorton about the lifeboat, return to the sign and go left down a path, then left towards the sea. Find the lifeboat beyond police barricades. Collect additional evidence: inspect the Lifeboat Name "TITANIA", examine the Diving Helmet (rotate and search the front faceplate, be mindful of sanity drain), and find Albert Throgmorton's will on a seat. You will need to climb inside the lifeboat (Triangle) for some items.
  7. 7
Return to Robert Throgmorton: After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert Throgmorton to unlock an optional conversation.
Tips
  • The Submachine Gun (if owned via DLC) is powerful but consumes ammunition quickly. Save its clip for critical moments.
  • Consider putting a free Skill Point (if obtained via DLC) into the "Absolute Clarity" Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
  • Lootable objects can be repeatedly searched for ammo and crafting materials. Be cautious, as large amounts of loot may indicate a dangerous area.
  • The Diving Helmet in the Lifeboat Titania can drain your sanity if you hold it for too long.
Collecting all key evidence on the ship grants an additional 140 XP. Completing the optional Lifeboat Titania investigation also grants 140 XP and unlocks an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
