Navigate Reed Heights South in The Sinking City 2 with our comprehensive walkthrough. Discover key evidence, optional investigations, and character interactions.
Walkthrough
- 1The "Charon" Ship: This is your first investigation location. Collect all key evidence to progress.
- Key Evidence: Your belongings on the table (briefcase containing Letter from J. van der Berg), Camera, and Pistol. To collect the pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an "eyeball" symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 2Additional Evidence: Take a photo of the trophy fish on the wall using your camera. Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings.
- 3Lootables: A locker to the right of the desk can be repeatedly looted for ammunition and crafting materials.
- 4Exit the Boat and Speak to Johannes van der Berg: Climb onto the dock using Triangle. Engage in conversation with Johannes van der Berg. To advance the game, select the following dialogue options: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", "Goodbye.". Note that choosing "I need somewhere to stay" locks out other dialogue branches.
- 5Find Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign pointing to the bar and exit. Ascend the stairs to automatically begin a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. To advance the game, select: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", "I'll be going.".
- 6Optional Investigation: Titania Lifeboat (Robert's Request): Return to the sign that pointed to the exit. Go left down a path, then left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades. This is optional and does not add to your casebook but grants 140 XP and an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
- Additional Evidence: Inspect the Lifeboat Name "TITANIA". Rotate the Diving Helmet and search its front faceplate. Find Albert Throgmorton's will on one of the seats. You may need to climb inside the lifeboat (Triangle) to collect some evidence. Be aware that looking at the diving helmet will slowly drain your sanity.
Tips
- If you own the Necronomicon Edition or associated DLC, you receive a Submachine Gun and 30 .45 ABP rounds. This weapon consumes ammunition quickly; save its initial clip for a special occasion.
- Consider investing a Skill Point into the "Absolute Clarity" Mind skill for a 5% bonus XP gain.
- Lootable objects can be reset by leaving and returning to the area, allowing for repeated collection of ammunition and crafting materials.
- The diving helmet in the Titania Lifeboat will drain your sanity if examined for too long.
