Alright, so you've reached the final stretch in The Sinking City, and it's time to tackle the 'I am the Seed' part of the 'Into the Depths' case. Don't worry, I've got your back. This is where things get really wild, so stick close. After the events of the last case, Charles Reed needs to get his hands on three special items called Kayfingers. But first, he needs to rest up at the Devil's Reef Hotel. When you arrive, you'll see a vision – it'll be different depending on who you sided with before. After that, Reed wakes up in his room. Check the desk; you'll find two important documents: _The Prophecy, with my notes_ and _Putting everything together_. Read them carefully, they explain that the Dreamer's Hidden Daughter is trapped in Cthygonnaar, and the Seed is needed to open or close the way. The entrance is a Monolith in central Advent, and you need three Kayfingers to complete the Seal. _Putting everything together_ also points you towards the fire worshipers, who can be found at St. Michaels Church of The Burning Bush. Let's head there. ## St Michael's Church When you get to the church, you'll notice a lot of activity outside, including a cart with gasoline canisters. Inside, you'll find some charred skeletons and a paper titled _Cleanse yourselves!_ near the entrance. It talks about a Cleansing at the church. You can also check out a gasoline can on the floor and a Brazier using your Mind's Eye. Upstairs, you'll meet Meryl. She'll tell you that what you're looking for is in the basement and that Father Nicholas left notes about the other Monoliths. Grab the key from a pedestal overlooking the pyre and check out the _Shopping list_ and _The Book of Holy Flame_ on the same pedestal. As you head downstairs, be sure to read the _Warning note_ by the door. It mentions wylebeasts appearing, so be ready. In the basement bedroom, there's a book on dreaming on the desk. Look for a brick wall with a picture – it's an illusion! Bust through it, and brace yourself, because some wylebeasts will show up. In the newly revealed room, check the bottle of Laudanum on the cart, a _Dream diary_, and the _Priest's records_. The _Dream diary_ gives you clues about the first stone and the second Monolith, mentioning iron horses and water. The _Priest's records_ reveal that Father Nicholas hid signs from dreams to help the Seed find what he seeks, hoping you'll restart the Cycle. Use your Mind's Eye on the rock protrusion in the basement to find the first Kayfinger. Then, follow the omens to reveal _Father Nicolas' Instruction_ under an illusory goblet. This tells you the first Monolith makes a man renowned and hides treasures under an 'azure cloak'. The second Monolith is in Oakmont with three identical disciples, appearing after the waters rise. Now, you'll need to head to the Oakmont Chronicle to use the archives, following the first part of Father Nicolas' instructions. Good luck!
