Navigate the 'A Frosty Welcome' mission in The Sinking City 2 with our comprehensive walkthrough. Find all key evidence, complete optional objectives, and learn about character interactions.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
On the Charon Ship: Collect your belongings (briefcase, camera, pistol). Examine the pistol by rotating it until an "eyeball" symbol appears and press X. Take a photo of the mounted fish with your camera and examine the flyer on the desk for additional evidence.
  2. 2
Speak with Johannes van der Berg: Exit the boat and climb the dock (Triangle). Choose dialogue options: "About my problem," "Where is Robert Throgmorton?" "I need somewhere to stay," "How do I get to Devil's Reef?" then "Goodbye."
  3. 3
Find Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign. Climb the stairs to initiate a conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
  4. 4
Robert's Request (Optional): During your conversation with Robert, you can ask about his son, the Innsmouthers, the visions, and then select "I can try to find Albert." You can also ask "Tell me more about the case" to receive Robert's Request. To end the conversation, select "I'll be going."
  5. 5
Titania Lifeboat (Optional Investigation): Return to the sign and go left down a path, then left towards the sea. Find the lifeboat beyond police barricades. Inspect the "TITANIA" nameplate, rotate and examine the Diving Helmet, and find Albert Throgmorton's will on a seat. Climb inside the lifeboat (Triangle) to collect evidence.
  6. 6
Return to Robert Throgmorton: After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert to unlock an optional conversation.
Tips
  • The Submachine Gun (Necronomicon Edition/DLC) is powerful but consumes ammo quickly; save it for critical moments.
  • Consider investing your first Skill Point in the "Absolute Clarity" Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
  • Lootable objects (marked with a symbol) can be repeatedly searched for ammunition and crafting materials. Be cautious, as abundant loot may indicate a dangerous area.
  • The Diving Helmet at the Titania Lifeboat drains sanity; do not hold it for too long.
Collecting all key evidence on the ship grants an additional 140 XP. Completing the optional Titania Lifeboat investigation provides an extra 140 XP and unlocks an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
