The Book of Dagon

The Book of Dagon is an ancient and damp text, presented as a rough translation filled with footnotes and corrections. It intermixes the rituals of Dagon's servants, such as summoning and sacrifice, with other forms of advice.

One specific ritual detailed in the book concerns the proper breeding with humans to increase the numbers of the Deep Ones. The ritual requires bringing slaves to the shore during the hour of high moon. The skin must be cut in lines forming the unholy names of Neshiartnam and Nsarag Amalkhassit. Their blood is then mixed with sand in a pit, and a dolphin's eye is placed within. The incantation, to be spoken thrice, is: "Ya Uztumen Krhash Ahaog Raa, Kev, Kev!" Finally, the slaves are to fall and crawl in the waters while prayers are directed to the watching eye of their master.
