    Key Evidence: Your belongings on the table. This includes the Letter from J. van der Berg (obtained by taking the briefcase), the Camera (usable item for taking pictures as evidence), and your Pistol. To collect the pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an eyeball symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds. Remember to reload your gun by holding L1, selecting the gun, and pressing Square.

    Additional Evidence: Use your camera to take a picture of the strange fish mounted on the wall (Photo of a trophy plate). Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings (Flyer).

    Lootables: A locker to the right of the desk can be searched for ammunition and crafting materials. Lootable objects reset if you leave the area and return.

  • Collecting all evidence in a location before concluding a case rewards you with an additional 140 XP.
  • The Submachine Gun (if owned) is powerful but consumes ammo quickly; save its initial clip for a special occasion.
  • Consider putting the Skill Point (if received) into the Absolute Clarity Mind skill for a 5% bonus XP boost.
  • Lootable objects can be repeatedly searched for resources.
