Throgmorton Manor
Throgmorton Manor is the residence of the Throgmorton family, located in the upscale southern part of Oldgrove in Oakmont. You can reach it by water from Coverside or on foot from other parts of Oldgrove.
Description
The manor is a large, stone mansion with imposing columns and statues of apes holding braziers atop human figures. Inside, you'll find a strong African theme with jungle-like plants decorating the interior.
Ground Floor
When you first enter, you'll find either an open casket or a cake, depending on when you visit. Next to the casket, there's an Albert Throgmorton obituary on a small table. To the left, a room features a large fireplace, a bearskin rug, and a map of Java above the fireplace. Behind this is the kitchen/dining area, with a door leading to a water access point on Marcussen St.
Upper Floor
The upper floor greets you with many plants at the top of the stairs, along with a piano, a bearskin rug, and a statue. The doorway near the piano leads to a bedroom with furniture, a bed, and more plants. Above the bed, you'll see a painting or woodblock print. On the other side of the entrance area, a hallway leads to a study. (More details needed here!)
Basement
The basement is less eventful, containing furniture, a large stack of barrels, and a pool table. You might encounter a mourner here, depending on when you visit.
