Follow our detailed walkthrough for The Sinking City's 'A Frosty Welcome' case, covering evidence collection on the Charon ship and the optional Titania Lifeboat.
Walkthrough
- 1Charon Ship - Key Evidence: Collect your belongings (briefcase), the Letter from J. van der Berg, the Camera, and the Pistol. To collect the pistol, pick it up, rotate it until the 'eyeball' symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 2Charon Ship - Additional Evidence: Use your camera to photograph the mounted fish (Photo of a trophy plate) and examine the flyer on the desk (Flyer).
- 3Lootables: Search the locker to the right of the desk for ammunition and crafting materials. Lootable contents are randomized and reset upon leaving and returning to the area.
- 4Speak to Johannes van der Berg: Exit the boat by climbing the dock (Triangle). Engage in conversation with Johannes van der Berg. To advance, select: "About my problem." > "Where is Robert Throgmorton?" > "I need somewhere to stay." > "How do I get to Devil's Reef?" > "Goodbye."
- 5Find Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign. Climb the stairs to automatically start a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. To advance, select: "What happened to your son?" > "Who are the Innsmouthers?" > "What do you know about the visions?" > "I can try to find Albert." > "Tell me more about the case." > "I'll be going."
- 6Optional: Titania Lifeboat: Return to the sign that pointed to the exit. Go left down a path, then left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades.
- 7Titania Lifeboat - Additional Evidence: Inspect the lifeboat name (TITANIA), examine the Diving Helmet (rotate and search the front faceplate), and collect Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat. You may need to climb inside the lifeboat (Triangle).
- 8Return to Robert Throgmorton: After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert Throgmorton to unlock an optional conversation.
