Complete walkthrough for Carpenter Manor (3) in The Sinking City 2. Find all evidence, solve puzzles, and uncover the secrets of this haunted location.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon entering Carpenter Manor (3), players must first collect their belongings from a table. This includes the Letter from J. van der Berg, the Camera, and the Pistol.
- 2To collect the Pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an "eyeball" symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine it. This also grants 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 3Players must then take a picture of the strange fish mounted on the wall using the Camera as additional evidence.
- 4Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of the table for more optional information.
- 5A locker to the right of the desk is lootable for ammunition and crafting materials. Lootable contents are randomized and can be reset by leaving and returning to the area.
- 6After collecting initial evidence, exit the boat by climbing onto the dock (Triangle).
- 7Engage in a conversation with Johannes van der Berg. Key dialogue choices to advance the game are: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and "Goodbye.". Choosing "I need somewhere to stay." locks out further optional dialogue branches.
- 8Proceed north along the pier to a sign with directions to a bar and an exit. Turn right towards the exit.
- 9Climb the stairs to initiate a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. Key dialogue choices to advance the game are: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and "I'll be going.".
- 10An optional investigation at the Titania Lifeboat is available. Return to the sign, go left down a path, then left towards the sea.
- 11At the Titania Lifeboat, inspect the "TITANIA" name, examine the Diving Helmet (rotate and search the front faceplate), and collect "Albert Throgmorton's will" from a seat. Be cautious as looking at the diving helmet drains sanity.
- 12Returning Albert's Will to Robert Throgmorton unlocks an optional conversation.
