Charon Ship: This is your first investigation location. Collect key evidence: your belongings on the table (briefcase, camera, pistol), and additional evidence: a photo of a trophy plate (use camera on the fish mounted on the wall) and a flyer on a desk. Examine the pistol by rotating it until an eyeball symbol appears on the handle and pressing X. You receive 6 .38 pistol rounds. Remember to reload your weapon (hold L1, select gun, press Square).

Exit the Boat: Press Triangle to climb onto the dock.

Johannes van der Berg Conversation: Speak to Johannes van der Berg. To advance, select "About my problem," "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay," "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and "Goodbye."

Find Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign.

Robert Throgmorton Conversation: Speak to Robert Throgmorton. To advance, select "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert," "Tell me more about the case," and "I'll be going."

Optional: Lifeboat Titania: Return to the sign pointing to the exit, go left down a path, then left towards the sea. Inspect the Lifeboat Name "TITANIA," the Diving Helmet (rotate and search the front faceplate, be mindful of sanity drain), and Albert Throgmorton's will on a seat. Climb inside the lifeboat (Triangle) to access some evidence.

Return to Robert Throgmorton: After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert Throgmorton to unlock an optional conversation.
