This guide for The Sinking City 2 details how to find the "EOD is giving away fish" collectible, including its location and any associated rewards or tips for obtaining it.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon boarding the "Charon" ship, you must collect your belongings from the table. This includes the Letter from J. van der Berg, the Camera, and the Pistol.
- 2To collect the Pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an "eyeball" symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine it. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 3Reload your gun by holding L1 to bring up the weapon wheel, selecting the gun, and pressing Square.
- 4Collect additional evidence: take a photo of the strange fish mounted on the wall with your camera, and examine the flyer on the desk.
- 5Loot the locker to the right of the desk for randomized ammunition and crafting materials.
- 6After collecting evidence, exit the boat by climbing onto the dock (Triangle).
- 7Converse with Johannes van der Berg. To progress, select "About my problem," "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay," "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye."
- 8Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign pointing to the exit.
- 9Climb the stairs to automatically begin a conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
- 10To progress with Robert Throgmorton, select "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and finally "I'll be going."
Tips
- DLC owners may receive a Submachine Gun and .45 ACP rounds, and a Skill Point. It's recommended to invest the Skill Point in the "Absolute Clarity" Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
- Lootable objects can be reset and looted repeatedly by leaving and returning to the area.
- The "Titania Lifeboat" is an optional investigation site that can be accessed by returning to the sign and going left down a path towards the sea. It offers additional XP and a conversation with Robert Throgmorton but no key evidence for the main case.
- While examining the Diving Helmet in the Titania Lifeboat, your sanity will drain; do not hold it for too long.
