Navigate Reed Heights South in The Sinking City 2 with our comprehensive walkthrough. Find key evidence, complete optional objectives, and uncover the mysteries of this district.
Walkthrough
- 1On the "Charon" Ship: This is your first investigation location. Collect key evidence: your belongings on the table (briefcase containing a Letter from J. van der Berg), the Camera, and the Pistol. To collect the pistol, examine its handle until an eyeball symbol appears and press X. For additional evidence, take a photo of the trophy fish on the wall with your camera and examine the flyer on the desk. Lootable objects like lockers can be searched repeatedly for ammunition and crafting materials.
- 2Speaking with Johannes van der Berg: After collecting your belongings, you'll automatically speak with Johannes van der Berg. Select "About my problem," "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay," "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and "Goodbye" to advance.
- 3Finding Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign pointing to the exit. Ascend the stairs to automatically begin a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. Select "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and "I'll be going." to advance.
- 4Optional: Titania Lifeboat: To access this optional investigation, return to the sign pointing to the exit, go left down a path, and then left toward the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades. Collect additional evidence: the "TITANIA" nameplate, the Diving Helmet (rotate and examine the front faceplate), and Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat inside the lifeboat. Be cautious as looking at the diving helmet drains sanity.
- 5Concluding the Optional Investigation: After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert Throgmorton to give him the will, unlocking an optional conversation.
Tips
- The Submachine Gun (if owned via DLC) is powerful but consumes ammunition quickly; save it for special occasions.
- Consider putting your initial Skill Point into the "Absolute Clarity" Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
- Lootable objects reset when you leave and return to an area, allowing for repeated collection of materials and ammo.
- Be mindful of the sanity drain when examining the Diving Helmet in the Titania Lifeboat.
