Detailed walkthrough for The Sinking City 2: Coverside East (5), guiding you through key evidence, optional investigations, and NPC interactions to progress the story.
Walkthrough
- 1Charon Ship: This is your first investigation location. Collect all key evidence: your belongings (briefcase containing the Letter from J. van der Berg), the Camera, and the Pistol. To collect the Pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an "eyeball" symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 2Additional Evidence on Ship: Use your camera to photograph the mounted fish on the wall (Photo of a trophy plate). Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings (Flyer).
- 3Lootables: Search the locker to the right of the desk. Lootable objects can be reset by leaving and returning to the area, providing endless ammunition and crafting materials.
- 4Exit the Boat: Climb onto the dock by pressing Triangle.
- 5Johannes van der Berg: Speak with Johannes van der Berg. To advance, select: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", "Goodbye.". Note that choosing other dialogue options may lock you out of future conversations.
- 6Find Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign pointing to the exit.
- 7Robert Throgmorton: Speak with Robert Throgmorton. To advance, select: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", "I'll be going.". Asking about his looks is not an insult.
- 8Optional: Lifeboat Titania: Return to the sign and go left down a path, then left towards the sea. Find the lifeboat beyond police barricades.
- 9Evidence at Lifeboat: Inspect the Lifeboat Name ("TITANIA"). Examine the Diving Helmet (rotate and search the front faceplate). Collect Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat. You may need to climb inside the lifeboat (Triangle). Be aware that looking at the diving helmet for too long will drain your sanity.
- 10Return to Throgmorton: After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert Throgmorton to unlock an optional conversation.
