    On the 'Charon' ship, collect your belongings: the Letter from J. van der Berg (from the briefcase), the Camera, and your Pistol. To collect the pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an eyeball symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.

Optional questions can be asked before selecting "I'll be going.", which ends the conversation permanently.

Optional Investigation: Titania Lifeboat

  1. From the sign pointing to the exit, go left down a path, then left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades.
  2. Inspect the Lifeboat Name "TITANIA".
  3. Rotate the Diving Helmet and examine its front faceplate. Be mindful of sanity drain.
  4. Find Albert Throgmorton's will on one of the seats inside the lifeboat (climb in using Triangle).
  5. Returning Albert's Will to Robert Throgmorton unlocks an optional conversation.

  • The Submachine Gun and .45 ABP rounds are awarded with the Necronomicon Edition or DLC. Use the initial clip sparingly as .45 ABP rounds are scarce early on.
