Alright, let's talk about the "Blood-soaked paper" you'll find as part of the "Darling of Fortune" side case in The Sinking City. This is a pretty grim one, so brace yourself. After you've been to the Oakmont State Asylum and St. Mary's Hospital, you'll get the address for the Winner and Co. Meat Factory. Head there, and be ready for a fight – you'll run into some Wylebeasts on the ground floor. Clear them out, and then it's time to do some investigating. On the ground floor, you can check out a wheelchair near the entrance, a funeral urn on a table (use your Mind's Eye on it!), and a can of meat by the label applicator. There's also an operating table covered in blood. Head upstairs. You'll find some tags on a shelf with two urns, a business card for Dr. Lydia Callaway on that same shelf, a bottle of morphine on a bedside table, and a book called "Sleeping Beauty" on the bed. The clue we're looking for, the "Blood-soaked paper," is on the desk. Right next to it, you'll find a letter stamped "Return to sender" that contains the "Letter to Throgmorton," and another "Return to sender" letter with the "Letter to Mr. Meyer." You'll also find "Dr. Palmer's draft letter" on the couch. Once you've collected all this evidence, a retrocognition sequence will kick off. It'll show you what really happened: Emily was sedated, killed, and then processed into canned meat to be fed to the patients at the Asylum. Pretty messed up, right? After this, you'll need to head back to Jacob Tucker at the Oakmont Police Department to report your findings. You'll have a choice to tell him the truth or lie about his sister's fate.
