Discover the locations of all bodies in The Sinking City 2. This guide details key evidence and optional investigations to help you complete your casebook and earn bonus XP.
Walkthrough
- 1On the "Charon" Ship: This is your first investigation location. Collect the following key evidence:
- Your belongings on the table (briefcase).
- 2Letter from J. van der Berg: Obtained by taking the briefcase.
- 3Camera: A usable item for taking pictures as evidence.
- 4Pistol: Pick it up, rotate it until an "eyeball" symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 5Additional Evidence on the Ship:
- Photo of a trophy plate: Use your camera to photograph the fish mounted on the wall.
- 6Flyer: Examine the flyer on the desk.
- 7Lootables: Look for the lootable symbol (a crate/locker icon) to find ammunition and crafting materials. These reset when you leave and return to the area.
- 8Optional: Titania Lifeboat Investigation:
- Return to the sign pointing to the exit, then go left down a path and left towards the sea.
- 9The lifeboat is beyond police barricades.
- 10Evidence:
- TITANIA: Inspect the Lifeboat Name.
- 11Diving Helmet: Rotate and examine the front faceplate. Be aware that looking at it drains sanity.
- 12Albert Throgmorton's will: Found on a seat inside the lifeboat.
- 13Completing this optional investigation grants an extra 140 XP and unlocks an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
Tips
- The Submachine Gun and .45 ABP rounds are provided if you have the Necronomicon Edition or associated DLC. Use the initial clip sparingly as ammo is scarce early on.
- Consider putting your initial Skill Point (if DLC provided) into the **Absolute Clarity** Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
- To reload your weapon, hold L1 to bring up the weapon wheel, select your gun, and press Square.
- Climb to higher areas by pressing Triangle.
- Optional conversations with NPCs like Johannes van der Berg and Robert Throgmorton provide world-building but are not required for game progression. Choose dialogue options carefully to access all information before ending conversations, as they cannot be revisited.
