Navigate the treacherous Seabed Below Devil's Teeth in The Sinking City 2. Discover key evidence, optional objectives, and crucial tips to survive this challenging underwater section.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Upon arriving at the 'Charon' ship, your initial investigation area, collect your belongings from the table. This includes the Letter from J. van der Berg (obtained by taking the briefcase), the Camera, and your Pistol. Remember to examine the pistol by rotating it until an 'eyeball' symbol appears on the handle and pressing X. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
  2. 2
To reload your pistol, equip it via the weapon wheel (hold L1) and press Square.
  3. 3
Gather additional evidence on the ship: take a photo of the mounted fish with your camera, and examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings.
  4. 4
Loot the locker to the right of the desk for random ammunition and crafting materials. Lootable objects can be reset by leaving and returning to the area.
  5. 5
Exit the ship by climbing onto the dock (Triangle). You will automatically speak with Johannes van der Berg. Select dialogue options to progress: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye." Choosing these specific options ensures the conversation advances correctly.
  6. 6
Proceed north along the pier until you reach a sign with directions. Turn right towards the "exit" and ascend the stairs to meet Robert Throgmorton.
  7. 7
During your conversation with Robert Throgmorton, select dialogue options to advance the investigation: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and finally "I'll be going."
  8. 8
For an optional investigation, ask Robert Throgmorton about the lifeboat's location. Return to the sign and go left down a path, then left towards the sea. The lifeboat will be beyond police barricades.
  9. 9
Inside the lifeboat, inspect the name 'TITANIA'. Examine the Diving Helmet, rotating it to find a searchable front faceplate. Collect Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat. Be aware that prolonged examination of the diving helmet will drain your sanity.
  10. 10
After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert Throgmorton to unlock an additional conversation.
Tips
  • The Submachine Gun and .45 ABP rounds, if acquired via DLC, are powerful but consume ammunition rapidly. Save them for critical moments.
  • The Absolute Clarity Mind skill (5% bonus XP) is recommended for faster progression.
  • Lootable containers can be repeatedly looted by leaving and returning to the area. Be cautious, as containers with more loot may indicate a more dangerous area.
  • The Lifeboat Titania is an optional investigation that provides extra XP and an additional conversation, but is not required for main story progression.
  • Do not hold the diving helmet for too long, as it will drain your sanity.

Completing the main investigation tasks on the ship and speaking with the NPCs will allow you to progress to the next stage. The optional Lifeboat Titania investigation yields an additional 140 XP and an extra conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
