Complete walkthrough for 'A Frosty Welcome' in The Sinking City 2. Find key evidence on the Charon ship and explore the optional Titania Lifeboat.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
On the Charon ship, collect the Key Evidence: your belongings in the briefcase, the Camera, and the Pistol. To collect the pistol, examine it by rotating it until an 'eyeball' symbol appears on the handle and pressing X. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
  2. 2
Collect Additional Evidence: Use the Camera to photograph the mounted fish on the wall. Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings.
  3. 3
Loot the Locker to the right of the desk for random ammunition and crafting materials. Lootable objects can be reset by leaving and returning to the area.
  4. 4
Exit the boat by climbing onto the dock (Triangle). Speak with Johannes van der Berg. To advance, select: "About my problem." > "Where is Robert Throgmorton?" > "I need somewhere to stay." > "How do I get to Devil's Reef?" > "Goodbye."
  5. 5
Proceed north along the pier to a sign. Turn right towards the exit and go up the stairs to speak with Robert Throgmorton. To advance, select: "What happened to your son?" > "Who are the Innsmouthers?" > "What do you know about the visions?" > "I can try to find Albert." > "Tell me more about the case." > "I'll be going."
  6. 6
Optional: Titania Lifeboat Investigation: Return to the sign that pointed to the exit. Go left down a path, then left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades.
  7. 7
Collect Additional Evidence in the Lifeboat: Inspect the 'TITANIA' nameplate. Examine the Diving Helmet (rotate and search the front faceplate). Collect Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat. Climb inside the lifeboat (Triangle) to access some evidence. Be mindful of sanity drain when examining the diving helmet.
  8. 8
After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert Throgmorton to unlock an optional conversation.
Tips
  • The Submachine Gun (Necronomicon Edition/DLC) is powerful but consumes ammo quickly; save it for special occasions.
  • Consider investing the free Skill Point (DLC) into the 'Absolute Clarity' Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
  • Lootable objects can be repeatedly looted after resetting the area. Be cautious, as large amounts of loot may indicate nearby danger.
  • The Titania Lifeboat is an optional investigation that provides extra XP and an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton, but its evidence is not required for the main case.

Completing the main objectives on the Charon ship and speaking with Johannes van der Berg and Robert Throgmorton progresses the story. The optional Titania Lifeboat investigation yields an additional 140 XP and an extra conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
