Complete the Agatha Pierce encounter in The Sinking City 2 by collecting all evidence, including the poisoned Chianti bottle.
Walkthrough
- 1Interact with the bottle on the table by the fireplace to collect the 'Empty bottle' (Evidence 1/7).
- 2Interact with the letter on the same table to collect the 'Unfinished letter' [LORE, Correspondence] (Evidence 2/7).
- 3Interact with the framed photo of Milton Pierce on the same table and examine it to collect 'My baby boy' (Evidence 3/7).
- 4Interact with Agatha Pierce. Choose the dialogue option 'Okay, I'll do it.' or 'Bye.' to receive 'Looking for Chianti' [CASEBOOK, Self-Defense] (Key Evidence 1/4) and 'A rusty key' [CASEBOOK, Self-Defense] (Key Evidence 2/4). Note that going into the basement removes the 'A rusty key' casebook entry.
- 5Interact with the collapsed structure in the corner to collect 'Toppled wine rack' (Evidence 4/7).
- 6Interact with three different bottles in the racks and examine each of their labels to collect 'Bass & Co No1 Strong Ale "Ratcliff Ale"' three times (Evidence 5/7, 6/7, 7/7).
- 7Go down to the subbasement, defeating any wylebeasts (wild beasts) along the way.
- 8Interact with the single upright bottle on the crates opposite of the stairs, examining its label and cork. This will remove the 'Bottle of strychnine' casebook entry and grant you 'Bottle of poisoned Chianti' [CASEBOOK, Self-Defense] (Key Evidence 3/4).
- 9Return upstairs to Agatha and interact with her. Choose the dialogue option 'I have the bottle.' or 'Sorry, I have to go.'.
- 10After the conversation, you will receive 'Refused to kill' [CASEBOOK, Self-Defense] (Key Evidence 4/4), 'Key Evidence Collected', and 'All Evidence Collected'. You will also gain +184 XP [SKILLS].
- 11Leave the manor.
Tips
- Telling Agatha that her son wants her disposed of will unlock the bonus for all evidence collected, but sparing her life also results in all evidence being collected.
- Defeating wylebeasts (wild beasts) in the subbasement grants approximately +134 XP [SKILLS].
