Navigate the Fish Market (8) in The Sinking City 2 with our comprehensive walkthrough. Find all evidence, complete objectives, and uncover the secrets of this challenging area.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon arriving at the Fish Market, you'll need to interact with your belongings on the table to proceed. This includes picking up your briefcase, which contains the Letter from J. van der Berg.
- 2Locate the Camera, a crucial item for gathering evidence.
- 3Find the Pistol; examine its handle by rotating it until an 'eyeball' symbol appears, then press X. This also grants you 6 .38 pistol rounds. Remember to reload your weapon by holding L1 and selecting the gun, then pressing Square.
- 4Use your Camera to photograph the mounted fish on the wall for 'Additional Evidence'.
- 5Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings for more 'Additional Evidence'.
- 6Search the locker to the right of the desk for random ammunition and crafting materials. Lootable objects can be reset by leaving and returning to the area.
- 7After collecting evidence, exit the boat by climbing onto the dock (Triangle).
- 8Converse with Johannes van der Berg. Key dialogue options to advance are: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye.". Be aware that selecting "I need somewhere to stay" closes off other dialogue branches.
- 9Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign pointing to the exit.
- 10Climb the stairs to initiate a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. Key dialogue options to advance are: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and "I'll be going.".
Tips
- Consider investing your first Skill Point into 'Absolute Clarity' for a 5% XP bonus.
- DLC owners may receive a Submachine Gun; use its initial clip strategically as .45 ABP rounds are scarce early on.
- Lootable containers can be repeatedly searched after returning to the area. Be cautious, as large amounts of loot may indicate nearby danger.
