Walkthrough

Circle around to the back of the manor and hop the fence.

Ascend the steps and use a melee attack to remove the boards from the manor's back door.

Enter the manor.

Proceed through the kitchen and into the downstairs parlor.

Interact with the letter by the typewriter on the desk in the middle of the room to collect the 'Unsent letter' (Evidence 1/2).

Head upstairs and take a left.

Interact with the page by the lamp on the cabinet to collect 'A scrap of paper' (Evidence 2/2).

Go to the padlocked door by the piano and use a melee attack to remove the lock.

Enter the room and use your Mind's Eye (a supernatural ability to see hidden things) to dispel the illusion on the drawers.

Interact with the book on the stand to collect 'Mastery of Words' (Key Evidence 1/1).

Leave the manor.

Tips

After collecting 'Mastery of Words', the book restorer becomes antagonistic.
In the skills menu, you can acquire the "Crafting Efficiency: Supplies" skill under the mind section for 1 Knowledge Point. This costs 1,000 XP, leaving you with 62 XP remaining.
