Follow our detailed walkthrough for The Sinking City's 'A Frosty Welcome' mission, covering evidence collection on the Charon ship and the optional Titania Lifeboat investigation.
Walkthrough
- 1Charon Ship Investigation: This is your first investigation location. Collect key evidence and additional evidence to progress.
- 2Key Evidence: Your belongings (briefcase), Letter from J. van der Berg, Camera, Pistol. To collect the pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an eyeball symbol appears on the handle, then press X to examine. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 3Additional Evidence: Use your camera to photograph the mounted fish (Photo of a trophy plate). Examine the flyer on the desk (Flyer).
- 4Lootables: Search the locker to the right of the desk. Lootable contents are randomized and can be reset by leaving and returning to the area.
- 5Conversations: After collecting belongings, you'll speak with Johannes van der Berg. Select dialogue options to advance the game: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", "Goodbye.".
- 6Find Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign. You will automatically start a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. Select dialogue options to advance: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", "I'll be going.".
- 7Optional: Titania Lifeboat Investigation: Return to the sign pointing to the exit, go left down a path, then left towards the sea. Find the lifeboat beyond police barricades.
- 8Additional Evidence: Inspect the Lifeboat Name (TITANIA), examine the Diving Helmet (rotate and search the front faceplate), and collect Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat. Be aware that looking at the diving helmet drains sanity.
