Head south on Pearl Ln until you find a factory on your right with a crooked H-shaped sign on its door.

Enter the factory and clear it of random wylebeasts. You will gain an estimated +93 XP.

Go upstairs and interact with the note on the desk to find the Diary from the factory.

Proceed to the basement and enter the large room with wine racks.

At the end of the room, turn right to find a bloody handprint between two wine racks.

Use Mind's Eye (a supernatural ability allowing you to perceive hidden things) on the handprint to dispel the illusionary wall (a wall that appears solid but is not).

Interact with the cylinder located by the empty coffin on the table. This will give you Form Alpha-Three, information on J. Curwen, and mark Key Evidence Collected. You will also gain +184 XP.

You will gain 1 Knowledge Point (a skill point used to unlock abilities), reducing your XP by 1,000.

In the skills menu, under the mind section, acquire the "Crafting Efficiency: Ammunition" skill using 1 Knowledge Point.

Leave the factory and return to the intersection with Deepshore Rd and Maple.
