Alright, let's talk about Throgmorton Manor. This place is pretty distinctive, located in the swanky southern part of Oldgrove. You can get there by boat from Coverside, or just walk from the rest of Oldgrove if you prefer.

The manor itself is quite the sight, with a stone exterior, grand columns, and some rather… interesting statues of apes holding braziers above human figures. Inside, it's a whole different vibe – think lush, jungle-like plants everywhere, giving it a strong African inspiration.

Ground Floor

When you first enter, you'll find either a casket or a cake, depending on when you visit. Right by the casket, you'll see the Albert Throgmorton obituary on a small table. To the left, there's a room with a big fireplace, a bearskin rug, and a map of Java behind it. Keep going, and you'll find the kitchen/dining area. There's a back door there that leads to a water access point on Marcussen St., which could be handy.

Upper Floor

Head upstairs, and you'll be greeted by a ton of plants, a piano, another bearskin rug, and a statue. The door near the piano opens into a bedroom. It's got furniture, a bed, and more plants. Above the bed, there's a painting or maybe a woodblock print. On the other side of the main area, a hallway leads to a study.

Basement

The basement isn't exactly packed with excitement, but you'll find some furniture, a big stack of barrels, and a pool table. Keep an eye out, as there might be a mourner down here depending on when you visit.

Trivia

• When you first arrive, you'll see Albert Throgmorton's open casket with people around. If you return later, those same people will be enjoying a cake shaped like Albert!
• Above the front pillars, you'll see the Latin phrase "Scientia Vincere Tenebras," which roughly translates to "conquering darkness by science."
