Follow our comprehensive walkthrough for The Sinking City 2's 'A Frosty Welcome' mission. Find all key evidence, complete optional objectives, and learn about the 'Charon' ship and Titania Lifeboat.
Walkthrough
- 1'Charon' Ship Investigation: This is your first investigation location. Collect key evidence to proceed.
- 2Your Belongings: Collect your briefcase from the table. This also yields the 'Letter from J. van der Berg'.
- 3Camera: Collect the camera, a tool for taking pictures as evidence.
- 4Pistol: Pick up the pistol, rotate it until an 'eyeball' symbol appears on the handle, and press 'X' to examine it. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds. Note: The gun is not loaded and must be reloaded (L1 for weapon wheel, Square to reload).
- 5Additional Evidence on Ship:
- 6Photo of a trophy plate: Use your camera to photograph the fish mounted on the wall.
- 7Flyer: Examine the flyer on the desk.
- 8Lootables: Search the locker to the right of the desk. Lootable contents are randomized and can be reset by leaving and returning to the area.
- 9Exit the Ship and Speak to Johannes van der Berg: Climb onto the dock (Triangle). Engage in conversation. To advance, select: 'About my problem.', 'Where is Robert Throgmorton?', 'I need somewhere to stay.', 'How do I get to Devil's Reef?', 'Goodbye.'.
- 10Find Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier to a sign. Turn right towards the bar/exit. Ascend the stairs to initiate a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. To advance, select: 'What happened to your son?', 'Who are the Innsmouthers?', 'What do you know about the visions?', 'I can try to find Albert.', 'Tell me more about the case.', 'I'll be going.'.
- 11Optional Investigation: Titania Lifeboat:
- 12Return to the sign pointing to the exit. Go left down a path, then left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades.
- 13Additional Evidence:
- 14Inspect the 'TITANIA' name on the Lifeboat.
- 15Examine the 'Diving Helmet', rotating it to find a search prompt on the front faceplate. Be mindful of sanity drain while examining.
- 16Collect 'Albert Throgmorton's will' from a seat inside the lifeboat (climb inside using Triangle).
- 17Returning Albert's Will to Robert Throgmorton unlocks an additional conversation.
