Continue the Field Research case in The Sinking City 2 by investigating the infested shop on Windheim St. Find key evidence, battle creatures, and uncover the shop owner's fate.
Alright, you've made it to Windheim Street. Head left until you spot a store with a big "Men's finest clothing" sign and another crooked-H sign. It looks pretty rough, and yeah, it's infested. Time to head inside.
Walkthrough
- 1You'll start on the ground floor of what's clearly the Former Patient's Shop. Get ready, because three multi-handed creatures are waiting for you here. Take them down to earn +120 XP.
- 2Now, look around the sales counter. You'll find some Aspirin and Cocainum. Interact with it – this is your first piece of evidence (1/4).
- 3Next, check out the bloody mattress behind the counter. Examining this adds it to your evidence log (2/4).
- 4On the pillow of that bloody mattress, there's a journal. This is the Shop owner's notes, and it's a piece of Key Evidence (1/2).
- 5Activate your Mind's Eye. You'll see omens guiding you down to the basement. Follow them.
- 6In the basement, the omens will lead you to a table with a lamp. Near it, you'll find a page titled Hospital response. Grab it for evidence (3/4).
- 7Keep following the omens in the basement. They'll point you towards a barrel near the far wall, where you'll find the Shop owner's corpse. Interact with it for the final piece of regular evidence (4/4).
- 8Right next to the corpse, on the barrel, is a note. This is the Suicide note, and it's your second piece of Key Evidence (2/2).
- 9With all the evidence collected, you'll get a notification that Key Evidence Collected and All Evidence Collected. You'll also earn +184 XP.
- 10Now for a nice bonus: you'll get 1 Knowledge Point. Head into your skills menu. Under the combat proficiency section, you can now acquire the Sapper Charge skill. This will cost you that Knowledge Point.
- 11Once you've got the Sapper Charge, you're free to leave the shop and head towards the next area, Salvation Harbor.
Tips
- Don't forget to use Mind's Eye in the basement. The omens are crucial for finding the last bits of evidence.
- The Sapper Charge skill is really useful for dealing with groups of enemies or tougher single targets, so it's definitely worth picking up.
