Guide to finding Mirror-Maker's House (4) in The Sinking City 2. Learn about key evidence, optional items, and how to progress through this section of the game.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Upon arriving at the "Charon" Ship, which serves as your first investigation location, collect your belongings from the table. This includes the Letter from J. van der Berg, the Camera, and your Pistol.
  2. 2
To collect the Pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an "eyeball" symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine it. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds. Remember to reload your weapon by holding L1 and selecting the gun, then pressing Square.
  3. 3
For additional evidence, use your camera to take a picture of the mounted fish on the wall (Photo of a trophy plate).
  4. 4
Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings for another piece of Additional Evidence.
  5. 5
Lootable objects, marked with a specific symbol, can be searched repeatedly for ammunition and crafting materials. These reset when you leave and return to the area.
  6. 6
After collecting evidence on the ship, exit by climbing onto the dock using Triangle.
  7. 7
You will automatically start a conversation with Johannes van der Berg. To advance the game, select the dialogue options: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye.". Choosing these specific options concludes the conversation and prevents further dialogue branches.
  8. 8
Proceed north along the pier to a sign with directions. Turn right towards the bar and "exit."
  9. 9
Ascend the stairs, which will trigger a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. To advance, select: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and "I'll be going.".
  10. 10
Optional Investigation: Titania Lifeboat: Return to the sign with directions. Go left down a path, then left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades.
  11. 11
In the lifeboat, inspect the TITANIA nameplate.
  12. 12
Examine the Diving Helmet, rotating it to search the front faceplate. Be aware that looking at the helmet for too long will drain your sanity.
  13. 13
Find Albert Throgmorton's will on one of the seats. You may need to climb inside the lifeboat using Triangle to collect it.
  14. 14
Returning Albert's Will to Robert Throgmorton unlocks an optional conversation.
Tips
  • If you own the Necronomicon Edition or DLC, you receive a Submachine Gun and .45 ACP rounds. Use its initial clip sparingly as resources are scarce.
  • Consider investing a Skill Point into Absolute Clarity for a 5% XP bonus.
  • Lootable containers may contain significant amounts of materials and ammo, but can also indicate an increased danger level in the area.
  • The lifeboat location is optional and not marked on the map; remember the directions if you choose to investigate it.
Collecting all key evidence on the ship grants an additional 140 XP. Completing the optional Titania Lifeboat investigation provides an extra 140 XP and an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
