Complete walkthrough for 'A Frosty Welcome' in The Sinking City 2. Find key evidence on the Charon ship and explore the optional Titania Lifeboat.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Collect your belongings from the table on the ship. This includes your Camera and the Letter from J. van der Berg.
  2. 2
Examine the Pistol on the table, rotating it until an eyeball symbol appears on the handle, then press X to examine. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
  3. 3
Use your camera to take a picture of the Photo of a trophy plate (a fish on the wall).
  4. 4
Examine the Flyer on the desk to the left of the table.
  5. 5
Loot the Locker to the right of the desk.
  6. 6
Exit the ship by climbing onto the dock (Triangle).
  7. 7
Converse with Johannes van der Berg. Select "About my problem," "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay," "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye."
  8. 8
Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign.
  9. 9
Converse with Robert Throgmorton. Select "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert," "Tell me more about the case," and finally "I'll be going."

Optional Investigation: Titania Lifeboat

  1. Return to the sign that pointed to the exit.
  2. Go left down a path and then left toward the sea.
  3. Inspect the TITANIA Lifeboat Name.
  4. Examine the Diving Helmet, rotating it to find the faceplate and search. Be mindful of sanity drain.
  5. Find and inspect Albert Throgmorton's will on one of the lifeboat seats.
  6. Return to Robert Throgmorton with the will to unlock an optional conversation.
Tips
  • If you own the Necronomicon Edition or DLC, you receive a Submachine Gun and 30 .45 ACP rounds. Use these sparingly as ammunition is scarce.
  • If you received a Skill Point from DLC, invest it in the Absolute Clarity Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
  • Lootable objects (marked with a symbol) can be repeatedly looted for ammunition and crafting materials.
  • Collecting all evidence in a location before finishing the case grants an additional 140 XP.
  • XP for collected evidence and optional investigations.
  • Access to additional dialogue with NPCs.
