So, you're heading to Throgmorton Manor in Oldgrove? It's quite the place, the residence of the Throgmorton family, sitting pretty in the upper-class district of Oakmont. You can get there by water from Coverside, or just stroll in from the rest of Oldgrove. It's a mansion with a real unique vibe, lots of African inspiration and jungle plants everywhere. Let's break it down: ## Description The manor has three floors, including the basement. From the outside, it's mostly stone with big columns. Keep an eye out for those ape statues holding braziers on the front – they're standing on some rather unfortunate-looking human figures. ### Ground Floor When you first step into the entryway, you'll either find an open casket or a cake, depending on when you visit. Right by the casket, you'll see the Albert Throgmorton obituary on a little table. To the left, there's a big fireplace with a bearskin rug. Above the fireplace, you'll spot a map of Java. Behind that is the kitchen and dining area. There's a door at the back that leads to the water, right on Marcussen St. ### Upper Floor As you head upstairs, you'll be greeted by a ton of plants, a piano, another bearskin rug, and a statue. The door closest to the piano opens into a bedroom. Inside, you'll find some furniture, a bed, and more plants. Look above the bed for a painting or maybe a woodblock print. On the other side of the upper floor's entrance area, a hallway will take you to a study. (Looks like we need a bit more info on what's in the study!) ### Basement The basement isn't exactly packed with excitement, but you'll find some furniture, a big pile of barrels, and a pool table. Depending on when you visit, you might even find a mourner hanging out down there. ## Trivia * When you first arrive at the manor, you'll see Albert Throgmorton's open casket, with a few people gathered around. If you come back later, those same people will be enjoying a cake shaped like Albert! * Above the pillars at the front of the manor, you can see the inscription "_Scientia Vincere Tenebras_." It roughly translates from Latin to "conquering darkness by science."
