Follow our comprehensive walkthrough for The Sinking City 2's 'A Frosty Welcome' mission, detailing key evidence, optional investigations, and NPC interactions.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
On the "Charon" ship, collect your belongings from the table. This includes the Letter from J. van der Berg, the Camera, and your Pistol. To collect the pistol, examine its handle by rotating it until an eyeball symbol appears and pressing X. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
  2. 2
Use the camera to take a picture of the trophy fish mounted on the wall (Additional Evidence).
  3. 3
Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of the table (Additional Evidence).
  4. 4
Loot the locker to the right of the desk (Lootable). Lootable objects can be reset by leaving and returning to the area.
  5. 5
Exit the ship by climbing onto the dock (Triangle).
  6. 6
Speak with Johannes van der Berg. To advance, select "About my problem," "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay," "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye." Choosing "Goodbye" ends all conversation branches.
  7. 7
Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign pointing to the exit.
  8. 8
Speak with Robert Throgmorton. To advance, select "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert," "Tell me more about the case," and finally "I'll be going." Choosing "I'll be going" ends all conversation branches.

Optional Investigation: Titania Lifeboat

  1. Return to the sign that pointed to the exit. Go left down a path and then left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades.
  2. Inspect the Lifeboat Name (Additional Evidence).
  3. Examine the Diving Helmet. Rotate it and look at the front faceplate to search. Be aware that your sanity will drain while examining the helmet; do not hold it for too long.
  4. Collect Albert Throgmorton's will from one of the seats in the lifeboat. You may need to climb inside (Triangle).
  5. Returning Albert's Will to Robert Throgmorton unlocks an optional conversation.
