Master Form Omega-Six in The Sinking City 2 with our comprehensive walkthrough. Find all evidence, complete objectives, and uncover the secrets of this critical mission.
Walkthrough
- 1Begin the Investigation: Upon starting, you'll be on a ship. Collect your belongings from the table in front of you. This includes your briefcase, which contains the Letter from J. van der Berg, and the Camera.
- 2Examine the Pistol: Pick up the Pistol, rotate it until an "eyeball" symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine it. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds. Note that your gun is not loaded and requires reloading (hold L1, select weapon, press Square).
- 3Gather Additional Evidence: Use your Camera to take a picture of the strange fish mounted on the wall (Additional Evidence). Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings (Additional Evidence).
- 4Lootables: Search the locker to the right of the desk for ammunition and crafting materials. Lootable contents are randomized and reset upon leaving and returning to the area.
- 5Exit the Ship: After collecting the key evidence, you can leave the ship. Climb onto the dock to your right by pressing Triangle.
- 6Speak with Johannes van der Berg: You will automatically start a conversation with Johannes van der Berg. To advance the game, select the following dialogue options: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye.". Choosing these options progresses the main quest and locks out further optional dialogue.
- 7Proceed to Robert Throgmorton: Head north along the pier. Turn right at the sign pointing to a bar and an exit. Ascend the stairs to begin a conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
- 8Discuss with Robert Throgmorton: To advance the game, select: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and finally "I'll be going.". Other dialogue options are optional.
- 9Optional: Investigate the Lifeboat Titania: If you ask Robert Throgmorton about the lifeboat, he will provide directions. Return to the sign pointing to the exit, go left down a path, and turn left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades.
- 10Collect Lifeboat Evidence (Optional): Inspect the Lifeboat Name "TITANIA". Rotate the Diving Helmet and examine its front faceplate. Collect Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat inside the lifeboat. Be aware that looking at the diving helmet for too long will drain your sanity.
- 11Return to Robert Throgmorton: After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert Throgmorton to unlock an optional conversation.
Tips
- The Submachine Gun (if purchased with the Necronomicon Edition or DLC) is powerful but consumes ammunition rapidly. Save its initial clip for critical moments.
- Consider investing the free Skill Point (if received via DLC) into the "Absolute Clarity" Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
- Lootable objects can be repeatedly searched for ammunition and crafting materials. Be cautious, as large amounts of loot may indicate a dangerous area.
- The Lifeboat Titania is an optional investigation site that provides extra XP and an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton, but its evidence is not required for the main case.
