Navigate Fabian Coswick's Residence in The Sinking City 2. Find key evidence, complete optional tasks, and uncover the secrets within this walkthrough.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Upon arriving at the "Charon" ship, collect your belongings from the table. This includes the Letter from J. van der Berg (obtained by taking the briefcase), the Camera, and your Pistol. To collect the pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an "eyeball" symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine it. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds. Remember to reload your weapon by holding L1, selecting the gun, and pressing Square.
  2. 2
Collect Additional Evidence: Take a photo of the trophy plate on the wall using your camera, and examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings.
  3. 3
Loot the Locker to the right of the desk. Lootable contents are randomized and can be reset by leaving and returning to the area.
  4. 4
Exit the boat by climbing onto the dock to your right using Triangle.
  5. 5
Speak with Johannes van der Berg. To advance the game, select the dialogue options: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye.". Note that choosing these options closes off other dialogue branches permanently.
  6. 6
Proceed north along the pier to a sign with directions. Turn right towards the "exit" and go up the stairs to automatically start a conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
  7. 7
During your conversation with Robert Throgmorton, to advance the game, select: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and finally "I'll be going.". Other dialogue options are optional.
  8. 8
Optional Investigation: Titania Lifeboat: Return to the sign with directions. Go left down a path, then left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades.
  9. 9
In the Titania Lifeboat, collect Additional Evidence: Inspect the lifeboat name "TITANIA", examine the Diving Helmet (rotate and search the front faceplate; be mindful of sanity drain), and pick up Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat. You may need to climb inside the lifeboat using Triangle.
  10. 10
Returning Albert Throgmorton's will to Robert unlocks an optional conversation.
Tips
  • If you own the Necronomicon Edition or DLC, you receive a Submachine Gun and 30 .45 ABP rounds. This weapon consumes ammo rapidly; save its initial clip for critical moments.
  • Consider investing a Skill Point into the Absolute Clarity Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
  • Lootable objects (marked with a specific symbol) can be repeatedly searched for ammunition and crafting materials. More valuable loot may indicate a more dangerous area.
  • When examining the Diving Helmet in the Titania Lifeboat, do not hold it for too long to avoid significant sanity loss.
Collecting all key evidence in a location before concluding the case grants an additional 140 XP. Completing the optional Titania Lifeboat investigation also grants 140 XP and unlocks an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
