Complete walkthrough for 'A Frosty Welcome' in The Sinking City 2. Find key evidence on the 'Charon' ship, interact with NPCs, and discover optional investigations like the Titania Lifeboat.
Walkthrough
- 1On the 'Charon' Ship: Collect key evidence: your belongings on the table, the Letter from J. van der Berg (found in the briefcase), the Camera, and the Pistol (requires examination of the handle by rotating until an eyeball symbol appears, then pressing X). You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 2Additional Evidence on Ship: Use your camera to take a photo of the mounted fish (Photo of a trophy plate) and examine the flyer on the desk (Flyer).
- 3Lootables: Search the locker to the right of the desk. Lootable contents are randomized and can be reset by leaving and returning to the area.
- 4Speak with Johannes van der Berg: Exit the boat by climbing onto the dock (Triangle). Engage in conversation with Johannes van der Berg. To advance, select: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", "Goodbye.". Optional dialogue branches are available but do not affect progression.
- 5Find Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign pointing to the exit. Climb the stairs to automatically start a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. To advance, select: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", "I'll be going.". Optional questions can be asked before selecting "I'll be going.".
- 6Optional: Titania Lifeboat: Return to the sign pointing to the exit. Go left down a path, then left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades. This is an optional investigation that provides 140 XP and an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
- 7Optional Evidence: Titania Lifeboat: Inspect the lifeboat name (TITANIA), examine the Diving Helmet (rotate and search the front faceplate), and collect Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat. Note: Sanity drains while looking at the diving helmet.
