Walkthrough
  1. 1
Finding Treasure: Treasure can be found through various means:
    • Randomly scattered on islands.
  2. 2
    Floating in shipwrecks.
  3. 3
    Inside barrels of plenty.
  4. 4
    Behind vaults in forts.
  5. 5
Taken by enemies like Skeleton Ships, Megalodons, or the Kraken.
  6. 6
Through dedicated Voyages offered by Trading Companies.
  7. 7
Identifying Treasure: All treasure items emit a colored glint or glow, visible from afar.
  8. 8
Carrying Treasure: A pirate can only carry one treasure item at a time. While carrying treasure, you cannot fight or use equipment. To regain full control, the treasure must be dropped. Harpoons can be used to retrieve treasure from a distance.
  9. 9
Container Chests: Smaller treasure items can be placed in Container Chests, which can hold up to 3 items. This hides their glow, glint, or sound, aiding in transportation and delivery.
  10. 10
Treasure Lifespan: Treasure picked up and left on land will remain until interacted with. Treasure dropped in water sinks after about 5 minutes, with the exception of Trade Good Crates which float longer.
  11. 11
Emissary Value: Sailing as a Trading Company Emissary grants Emissary Grade Reputation when picking up relevant treasure. Additional Reputation is gained when the treasure is put on the ship. These increases are awarded only upon the first claim of a treasure item.
  12. 12
Selling Treasure: Treasure must be carried by hand to the respective Company Representative at an Outpost to receive a payout. Each Trading Company values specific types of treasure.

Types of Treasure:

  • Gold Hoarders Treasure: Sold to the Gold Hoarders for Gold and Reputation. Includes Treasure Chests (Regular, Shipwrecked, Coral, Ashen, Valuable, Cursed) and Artefacts (Regular, Ashen, Coral, Skeleton Captain, etc.). Treasure Chests emit a White Glint, while Regular Artefacts emit a Golden Glint.
  • Order of Souls Treasure: Primarily Bounty Skulls, sold to the Order of Souls for Gold, Reputation, and Emissary Value.
  • Merchant Alliance Treasure: Includes Trade Goods (Plants, Minerals, Textiles) and Animals (Chickens, Pigs, Snakes), sold to the Merchant Alliance.
Tips
