It's a pretty neat system that lets you use your hard-earned Contribution Points to snag buildings for all sorts of cool stuff. You can get a cozy home to call your own (seriously, every building can be a residence!), expand your storage in a city to stash more goodies, or set up Lodging to house your workers. Some places can even become workshops for your workers! The best part? The inside of these places is instanced, meaning you won't be bumping into other players when you go inside. You just interact with a door, pick whose place you wanna visit, and boom, you're in. But heads up, if you designate a unit as "My House," you'll be ranked based on your interior scores against everyone else – pretty cool bragging rights! ### Buying and Selling Your Units You can check out a city's housing grid from anywhere using your world map, as long as you've actually visited the place before and got the knowledge for it. Every building has at least one unit you can buy with Contribution Points. Some units can even be upgraded, like a lodging unit that can hold two workers instead of just one. Just a little warning: sometimes units aren't ready right away after you buy or upgrade them; they might take a few minutes to be ready for move-in. Most buildings give you at least 3 options for what kind of unit you want to make it. Every unit can be bought as a player residence, but you can change its type later to storage or a workshop if you want, though it'll cost you some silver and time. Some houses have multiple units that you can buy in a specific order, kind of like a chain. You can even have different types of units within the same house! Imagine your first unit as your residence, the next as storage, and a third as a workshop – super handy. #### Building Icon Colors Keep an eye on these colors when you're looking at the housing grid: * Blue: These buildings are up for grabs. Go for it! * White with a blue circle: These are yours. Congrats! * Gray: You can't buy these, and they're not yours. Move along. When you sell a residence, you get your Contribution Points back, but sadly, not the silver you spent on it. Also, remember you can only sell the very last unit in a chain. So, if you have four units in a row and want to sell the third one, you'll have to sell the fourth one first. Plan your housing layout wisely! ### Extra Residences There are a couple of quests that can help you out with getting more residences: * A quest from Islin Bartali, where you need to invest 2,000 points into your residence. * Another quest from Constante, asking you to invest 30,000 or more in all your residences. This is your basic setup, focusing on melee combat. You'll be charging into battle, grabbing enemies, and smashing them with your sword, or using that shield to absorb some serious hits. You're versatile on the battlefield and can handle tough situations. #### Awakening Once you Awaken, you'll trade your shield for a massive Greatsword. This is where the Warrior really shines with raw power. You'll be swinging that huge weapon with incredible force, and when your rage builds up, you become a force of nature. Even without a shield, you can still block with the Greatsword, so you've got a good balance of offense and defense. #### Succession Succession brings you back to the Longsword and Shield, but with a much more refined and aggressive style. You'll focus your might on the Longsword, attacking with increased ferocity. You can take down hordes of enemies with heavy blows, all while staying nimble. These improved skills give you a great balance, making you super effective. ### History There's a bit of lore about the Warrior being tied to the Goyen Mercenaries, who were hired by Dandelion for a war against Larcsy, an ally of Calpheon. It's a cool backstory about a group of outcasts who found honor and purpose under a great swordsman named Goyen. You'll learn more about this as you progress.
