Finding Treasure: Treasure can be found scattered across the Sea of Thieves on islands, in shipwrecks, floating in barrels, within forts, or taken by enemies like Skeleton Ships, Megalodons, and the Kraken. Treasure items emit a colored glint for easy spotting.

Types of Treasure: Treasure items are categorized by the Trading Company they appeal to: Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, and Merchant Alliance. Within these, they can be regular, Ashen, Stronghold, Skeletal, or Ghostly variants.

Gold Hoarder Treasure: This includes Treasure Chests (Regular, Shipwrecked, Coral, Ashen, Valuable, Cursed) and Artefacts (Trinkets, Containers, Ornaments). Treasure Chests emit a white glint, while Artefacts emit a golden glint.

Carrying and Selling: Treasure must be carried by hand to a Trading Company Representative at an Outpost. While carrying treasure, you cannot use equipment or resources. A single pirate can carry one item at a time, but smaller items can be stored in Container Chests (up to 3). Treasure can also be retrieved with a Harpoon.

Emissary Bonus: Sailing as a Trading Company Emissary grants bonus Reputation and Emissary Value when selling relevant treasure. Selling treasure for the first time as an Emissary provides these increases.

Treasure Persistence: Treasure left on land remains until interacted with. Treasure dropped in water sinks after about 5 minutes, except for Trade Good Crates.
