Discover and collect all Fragments in Warframe to unlock hidden lore, artwork, and audio transmissions. Your complete guide to finding every piece.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Mechanics: Most Fragments are scanned using the Codex or Synthesis Scanner. This unlocks artwork in the Codex's Universe tab, which can also be used as Orbiter decorations. Hovering over a specific point on the unlocked image reveals an audio transmission with lore. Some Fragments require direct interaction (default X) instead of scanning.
  2. 2
Cephalon Fragments: These are blue data blocks found in missions across most planets, moons, and locations (excluding Kuva Fortress). Each location has 2-3 fragments, requiring 3-7 scans. They appear as a blue quadruple diamond on the minimap with loot radar mods. They cannot be found in Defense, Interception, or Archwing missions. These fragments reveal lore about the Origin System's factions, characters, and planets, and decrypting them unlocks Ordis' Past, narrated by Ordis.
  3. 3
    Example - Earth Cephalon Fragments:
    • Fragment 1: Requires 3 scans. Lore: Earth is an abandoned, overgrown planet with toxic atmosphere, inhabited by infestation and wildlife. Scavengers stripped it long ago. Ordis Transmission: Hints at hiding the truth of his existence and the forbidden nature of a thinking machine.
  4. 4
Fragment 2: Requires 3 scans. Lore: Modern wildlife descends from Orokin-manipulated Earth creatures used for war, agriculture, and pets. Ordis Transmission: Questions his own nature as a machine that can think, a forbidden Orokin concept.
  5. 5
Fragment 3: Requires 3 scans. Lore: Grineer settlements on Earth utilize rich water reserves beneath the forest canopy, with outposts overgrown by vegetation. Ordis Transmission: States his purpose is to serve the Operator and acknowledges being a Cephalon made by the Orokin.
  6. 6
    Example - Venus Cephalon Fragment:
    • Fragment 4: Requires 3 scans. Lore: Corpus build industrial superstructures in Venus's mountainous regions, utilizing lingering Orokin technologies to moderate temperatures. Ordis Transmission: Reflects on being a forbidden, thinking, feeling computer, yet flawed and ghost-like.
Tips
  • Use loot radar mods to easily spot Cephalon Fragments on your minimap.
  • Fragments can only be found once per mission.
  • Be aware that certain mission types (Defense, Interception, Archwing) do not spawn Fragments.
  • Listen for white noise that intensifies as you get closer to the hidden point on an unlocked image to find the audio transmission.
