Discover how to find and scan Fragments in Warframe. Unlock hidden lore, artwork, and audio transmissions to deepen your understanding of the Origin System.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Scan Fragments: Most Fragments can be scanned using the Codex or Synthesis Scanner. This unlocks artwork in the Codex's Universe tab and accompanying lore.
  2. 2
Find Hidden Points: Within the unlocked artwork, a hidden point can be hovered over with the cursor to reveal a short audio transmission with additional lore. White noise serves as an audio clue.
  3. 3
Interact with Fragments: Some Fragments do not require scanning and can be acquired by interacting with them (default key X).
  4. 4
Fragment Types: Various types of Fragments exist, including Cephalon Fragments, Thousand-Year Fish Fragments, Glass Shard Fragments, Encrypted Journal Fragments, Nakak Memory Fragments, Fortuna Fragments, Partnership Fragments, The Tenets Fragments, Duviri Fragments, Albrecht's Notes, Isleweaver Fragments, Somachord Fragments, and Frame Fighter Fragments.
  5. 5
Cephalon Fragments: These are data fragments found in missions, visualized as hovering blue data blocks. They typically require 3-7 scans and reveal lore about Factions, Characters, and Planets, often unlocking Ordis' Past transmissions. They appear on the mini-map with loot radar mods and can spawn in most mission types except Defense, Interception, and Archwing.
Tips
  • Use loot radar mods to help locate Cephalon Fragments on your mini-map.
  • Listen for white noise to help pinpoint the hidden interactive point within scanned Fragment artwork for audio lore.
  • Fragments are released over time, with new types added to the game.
