Discover how to find and scan Warframe Fragments, including Cephalon, Fish, Glass, and more. Unlock hidden lore, audiovisual content, and decorative artwork for your Orbiter.
Fragments are hidden collectibles scattered throughout the Origin System in Warframe. Scanning or interacting with them unlocks artwork and lore entries, providing deeper insight into the game's universe. These unlocked pieces can be displayed on your Orbiter and often come with accompanying audio transmissions.
Mechanics:
Most Fragments can be scanned using the Codex Scanner or Synthesis Scanner. Successfully scanning a Fragment unlocks artwork in the Codex's 'Universe' tab, which can then be used as decoration on your Orbiter. Each piece of artwork also has an associated lore entry. Additionally, a hidden point on each image, when hovered over with the cursor, reveals a short audio transmission that provides further lore. An audio clue, like white noise that intensifies as you get closer, helps locate this point. Some Fragments, however, only require direct interaction (default key 'X') to be collected.
Types of Fragments:
- Cephalon Fragments: Data fragments found during missions, visualized as hovering blue data blocks. They reveal lore about the Origin System, Factions, Characters, and Planets, and decrypting them unlocks Ordis' Past. They typically require 3-7 scans and can be found on most planets and moons, but not in Defense, Interception, or Archwing missions.
