Discover all hidden Fragments in Warframe, including Cephalon, Fish, Glass, and more. Unlock lore and artwork to deepen your understanding of the Origin System.
Walkthrough
- 1Mechanics: Most Fragments can be scanned using the Codex or Synthesis Scanner. This unlocks artwork in the Codex's 'Universe' tab, which can be used as Orbiter decorations and includes accompanying lore. A hidden point on each image, indicated by white noise that gets louder as you approach, unlocks a short audio transmission with additional lore. Some Fragments require direct interaction (default X) instead of scanning.
- 2Cephalon Fragments: These are blue data blocks found in missions across the Origin System (except Kuva Fortress). Each planet/moon/location has 2-3 fragments, requiring 3-7 scans. They appear as a blue quadruple diamond on the mini-map with loot radar mods. They do not spawn in Defense, Interception, or Archwing missions. Scanning them unlocks artwork and lore about Factions, Characters, and Planets, and decrypting them reveals Ordis' Past.
- 3Earth Fragments:
- 4Fragment Lore: Earth is an abandoned, toxic planet overgrown with mutated jungle structures. Scavengers stripped it long ago, and it's now inhabited by Infestation and wildlife.
- 5Ordis Transmission: Ordis expresses his hidden truth, the pain of knowing, and questions his own existence as a machine that can think.
- 6Wildlife Fragments (Earth):
- 7Fragment Lore: Much of today's wildlife originates from Earth, modified by the Orokin for war, agriculture, or pets. Some species survived and adapted after the Orokin perished.
- 8Ordis Transmission: Ordis questions his nature as a machine that can think and feel, contrasting it with forbidden Orokin creations and his own perceived flaws.
- 9Earth Settlements Fragments:
- 10Fragment Lore: The Grineer maintain water reserves in Earth's mountains, their outposts overgrown by vegetation, showing signs of long occupation.
- 11Ordis Transmission: Ordis states his devotion to the Operator, questioning if it's love, and reflects on being a sentient machine created by the Orokin, a forbidden concept.
- 12Venus Fragments:
- 13Fragment Lore: The Corpus build industrial superstructures in Venus's mountains, moderating temperatures with lingering Orokin technologies.
- 14Ordis Transmission: Ordis ponders the definition of a Cephalon, seeing himself as more than a forbidden thinking machine, perhaps a ghost or abomination due to his flaws and phantom memories.
Tips
- Use loot radar mods to easily spot Cephalon Fragments on your mini-map.
- Listen for the white noise clue to find the hidden audio points on scanned artwork.
- Fragments do not spawn in Archwing missions, so focus on other mission types for these collectibles.
