Discover all Fragments in Warframe, including Cephalon, Fish, Glass, Ghoul, Revenant, and more. Learn how to find and scan them to unlock hidden lore and artwork.

Fragments are hidden collectibles scattered throughout the Origin System in Warframe. Finding and scanning these fragments unlocks pieces of written and audiovisual lore, providing deeper insight into the game's rich setting. Most fragments can be scanned using a Codex or Synthesis Scanner, revealing artwork and lore entries in the Codex. Some fragments require direct interaction.

Mechanics:

  • Scan fragments with Codex or Synthesis Scanner to unlock artwork and lore in the Codex's Universe tab.
  • Unlocked images can be used as Orbiter decorations.
  • Hovering over a hidden point on the unlocked image reveals an audio transmission with additional lore, guided by white noise.
  • Other fragment types require direct interaction (default 'X').

Fragment Types:

  • Cephalon Fragments: Data fragments found in missions, visualized as hovering blue data blocks. They appear on the mini-map with loot radar mods. Scanning them unlocks artwork and lore about the Origin System, Factions, Characters, and Planets. Decrypting them reveals Ordis' Past. They typically require 3-7 scans and can be found once per mission (excluding Defense, Interception, and Archwing missions).
  • Thousand-Year Fish Fragments
  • Glass Shard Fragments
  • Encrypted Journal Fragments
  • Nakak Memory Fragments
  • Fortuna Fragments
  • Partnership Fragments (Corpus Gas City)
  • The Tenets (Corpus Ship)
  • Lost Islands of Duviri Fragments
  • Albrecht's Notes
  • Isleweaver Fragments
  • Somachord Fragments
  • Frame Fighter Fragments

Prex Cards are also collectible items related to lore.
