Discover hidden lore in Warframe by finding and scanning Fragments. Learn about Cephalon, Fish, Glass, and more to unlock artwork and audio transmissions.
Fragments are hidden collectibles scattered throughout the Origin System in Warframe. Finding and scanning these fragments unlocks artwork and audio transmissions that provide deeper insights into the game's lore, characters, and locations. Different types of fragments exist, each tied to specific lore aspects.
Mechanics:
Most Fragments can be scanned using the Codex or Synthesis Scanner. Successfully scanning unlocks artwork in the Codex's 'Universe' tab, which can also be used as Orbiter decorations. Each artwork comes with accompanying lore. A hidden point on the artwork, indicated by white noise that gets louder as you approach, reveals a short audio transmission with additional lore. Other fragment types require direct interaction.
Types of Fragments:
- Cephalon Fragments: Found in rooms during missions, visualized as hovering blue data blocks. They reveal lore about Factions, Characters, and Planets, and decrypting them unlocks 'Ordis' Past', narrated by Ordis.
