Discover Fragments in Warframe! Learn how to scan and collect these hidden lore items across the Origin System to unlock artwork and audio transmissions that flesh out the game's rich setting.

Fragments are hidden items scattered throughout the Origin System in Warframe. Collecting them unlocks written and audiovisual lore that expands on the game's setting. Most Fragments can be scanned using a Codex or Synthesis Scanner, revealing artwork and lore entries in the Codex's Universe tab. Some Fragments also contain hidden audio transmissions with additional lore, hinted at by white noise that intensifies as you get closer to the point. Other Fragment types require simple interaction to collect.

Cephalon Fragments are visualized as hovering blue data blocks and are typically found in rooms during missions. They appear on the mini-map as a blue quadruple diamond when using loot radar mods. Each planet, moon, or location (excluding the Kuva Fortress) has two to three unlockable fragments, requiring 3 to 7 scans each. These fragments provide information about factions, characters, and planets, and decrypting them reveals Ordis' Past, narrated by Ordis himself. Cephalon Fragments do not spawn in Defense, Interception, or Archwing missions.
