Plains of Eidolon & Earth Cycle

Cephalon Fragments: These appear as hovering blue data blocks, typically found in rooms during missions. They can be scanned with a Codex or Synthesis Scanner. Each fragment requires 3-7 scans. They can appear on most planets, moons, and locations, but not in Defense, Interception, or Archwing missions. They reveal lore about factions, characters, and planets.

Earth Fragments: Specifically on Earth, there are three Cephalon Fragments:

• Fragment 1 (Earth): Requires 3 scans. Lore: Earth is overgrown and abandoned, with remnants of civilization consumed by mutated jungle structures. Scavengers stripped anything valuable long ago. Ordis Transmission: Hints at hiding the truth of his existence and the pain of knowing.

Fragment 2 (Wildlife): Requires 3 scans. Lore: Modern wildlife is descended from Orokin-manipulated Earth creatures, adapted for war, agriculture, and pets. Some survived after the Orokin perished. Ordis Transmission: Questions his own nature as a thinking machine, forbidden by the Orokin.

Fragment 3 (Earth Settlements): Requires 3 scans. Lore: The Grineer maintain water reserves beneath Earth's forests, with their outposts overgrown by vegetation. Ordis Transmission: States his service to the Operator defines him, questioning if it's love, and acknowledging his creation by the Orokin as a forbidden aware machine.
