Helminth System — Warframe Guide

Discover and collect all hidden Fragments across the Origin System in Warframe. Unlock lore, artwork, and audio transmissions to deepen your understanding of the game's universe.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Mechanics: Most Fragments can be scanned using the Codex or Synthesis Scanner. This unlocks artwork in the Codex's 'Universe' tab, which can be used as Orbiter decorations and comes with accompanying lore. A hidden point on each image, indicated by white noise that gets louder as you approach, unlocks a short audio transmission with additional lore. Some Fragments require direct interaction (default X) to acquire.
  2. 2
Cephalon Fragments: These are data fragments found in rooms during missions, visualized as hovering blue data blocks. They are typically found on planets, moons, and locations like the Void and Deimos (excluding Kuva Fortress), with 2-3 fragments per location, requiring 3-7 scans each. They appear as a blue quadruple diamond on the minimap with loot radar mods. Cephalon Fragments reveal lore about Factions, Characters, and Planets, and decrypting them unlocks 'Ordis' Past', narrated by Ordis. They do not spawn in Defense, Interception, or Archwing missions.
  3. 3
Fragment Lore & Ordis Transmissions: Each fragment provides lore about its specific location or theme, along with an Ordis transmission that reveals parts of his past and identity. For example, Earth fragments discuss its abandonment, wildlife, and Grineer settlements, while Venus fragments detail Corpus industry and Tenno dojos.
Tips
  • Use loot radar mods to easily spot Cephalon Fragments on your minimap.
  • Listen for the white noise clue to find the hidden point for audio transmissions.
  • Explore thoroughly during missions, as fragments can spawn in random locations.
  • Be aware that certain mission types (Defense, Interception, Archwing) do not contain Cephalon Fragments.
