Scanning these objects not only fills out your Codex but can sometimes reveal useful information or even be part of mission objectives. Think of it as your digital encyclopedia for the Warframe universe!

These objects can be static environmental details or things that have their own health pools, meaning you can actually shoot them. They're all cataloged in your Codex, giving you a rundown on what they are and why they're there. Let's take a look at some of the common ones you'll encounter:

• Storage Container: These are pretty common and usually just contain some resources or credits. Worth a quick scan and a smash!
• Resource Cache: Similar to storage containers, these often hold valuable resources. Keep an eye out for them, especially on resource-rich planets.
• Kuva Siphon: These are crucial for gathering Kuva, a vital resource for Helminth and other advanced crafting. You'll need to defend them from attackers while they extract the Kuva.
• Kuria: These are little feline statues. Scanning them contributes to a special lore entry and can be part of certain challenges.
• Thousand-Year Fish: Found in specific aquatic environments, these are more for collection and lore than immediate utility.
• Domestik Drone: These little robotic helpers can sometimes be found floating around. Scanning them adds them to your Codex.
• Turret: These are hostile defenses you'll often find in Corpus or Grineer installations. They can be scanned, and sometimes destroyed, to neutralize threats.
• Infested Hive: These are the source of Infested growth. Destroying them can be a mission objective, and scanning them gives you info on the Infested.

There are tons of other objects too, like Arcane Machines, Explosive Barrels, and even Grates! Each one has a bit of lore or function tied to it.
