Discover how to find and scan various Fragments in Warframe, including Cephalon, Fish, Glass, and more, to unlock hidden lore and audio transmissions.
Fragments are hidden collectibles scattered throughout the Origin System in Warframe. Finding and scanning them unlocks artwork and audio transmissions that provide deeper insights into the game's lore, characters, and locations. These can be found on planets, moons, and other areas, often within mission maps.
Mechanics:
Most Fragments can be scanned using a Codex Scanner or Synthesis Scanner. Successfully scanning a Fragment unlocks associated artwork in the Codex's Universe tab, which can also be used as Orbiter decorations. Each image has a hidden point that, when hovered over, reveals a short audio transmission with additional lore. An audio clue, like white noise that intensifies as you get closer, helps locate this point. Some Fragments only require interaction (default X) to collect.
Types of Fragments:
- Cephalon Fragments: Found in missions, visualized as hovering blue data blocks. They reveal lore about the Origin System, Factions, Characters, and Planets, and decrypting them reveals Ordis' Past. They typically require 3-7 scans and appear on the mini-map with loot radar mods. They do not spawn in Defense, Interception, or Archwing missions.
