Discover the hidden lore of Warframe by collecting Fragments. Learn how to find Cephalon, Fish, Glass, and other types of Fragments to unlock artwork and audio transmissions.
Walkthrough
- 1Mechanics: Most Fragments can be scanned using the Codex Scanner or Synthesis Scanner. This unlocks artwork in the Codex's 'Universe' tab and accompanying lore. A hidden point on each image, indicated by white noise that gets louder as you approach, unlocks a short audio transmission with additional lore. Some Fragments require direct interaction (default key 'X').
- 2Cephalon Fragments: These blue data blocks are found in rooms during missions across most planets, moons, and locations (excluding Kuva Fortress). Each location has 2-3 fragments, requiring 3-7 scans. They appear as a blue quadruple diamond on the mini-map with loot radar mods. They reveal lore about Factions, Characters, and Planets, and decrypting them reveals 'Ordis' Past', narrated by Ordis. They do not spawn in Defense, Interception, or Archwing missions.
- 3Other Fragment Types: The guide lists numerous other fragment types, including Thousand-Year Fish, Glass Shards, Ghoul, Revenant, Solaris United, Partnership, The Tenets, Duviri, Albrecht's Notes, Isleweaver, Somachord, and Frame Fighter Fragments. Each type has specific locations and methods for collection, often detailed on separate linked pages.
Tips
- Use loot radar mods to easily spot Cephalon Fragments on your mini-map.
- Listen for white noise to locate the hidden audio transmission points on scanned artwork.
- Fragments are crucial for uncovering the deep lore of Warframe's universe.
