Fragments are hidden collectibles scattered throughout the Origin System in Warframe. Scanning or interacting with them unlocks lore entries, artwork, and audio transmissions that flesh out the game's universe. These fragments come in various types, each tied to specific lore or characters.

Mechanics:

Most Fragments can be scanned using the Codex Scanner or Synthesis Scanner, unlocking artwork in the Codex. These artworks can be used as decorations on the Orbiter and come with accompanying lore. A hidden point on each image, when hovered over, unlocks a short audio transmission. Other Fragments require direct interaction (default X key).

Fragments:

Fragments are categorized by their type and release date:

• Cephalon Fragments: Found in missions, visualized as hovering blue data blocks. They reveal lore about Factions, Characters, and Planets, and decrypt to reveal Ordis' Past, narrated by Ordis. They require 3-7 scans and can be found once per mission, excluding Defense, Interception, and Archwing missions.
